Meet our New Administrative Recruiter: Anthony Liberti

Anthony (AJ) Liberti is a new addition to the ProMed Staffing Resources Administrative Healthcare Recruiting Team. AJ comes to us with significant experience in corporate and healthcare recruiting. Here is his story:

What attracted you to ProMed Staffing Resources?

What drew me to ProMed Staffing Resources was the ability to work with some of the best healthcare professionals, along with the best hospitals in the country, in the best city in the world. It does not get better than that.

Can you talk about your experience as a recruiter?

I have thoroughly enjoyed working as a Recruiter. To be able to place someone in their dream role or their dream hospital is just fulfilling. Furthermore, the frontline workers I have worked with have had a direct impact on decreasing COVID rates in New York and other tri-state areas. And knowing that you had some sort of a role (even if it is minimal) in the battle against COVID and us returning to normalcy is extremely rewarding.

What is your mantra for life and work?

My mantra is, “life isn’t about how you brave the storm; it’s about how you dance in the rain.” Especially now, with the pandemic, I think we have all faced unprecedented challenges and difficulties. I have found that rather than just coping and getting through it, it is much better to remain optimistic and make the best of what we’re given every day. In remaining hopeful, I have found that I am much more productive both in and out of work.

Tell us three things about you that people might not guess about you?

Three things people would not know about me.

  1. When I was a kid, I starred in a couple of commercials: nothing major, still a really cool experience.
  2. I love fencing (the sport). I fenced throughout high school, college, and in my personal time today. It is a very niche hobby, but one I recommend.
  3. I have lived in three countries throughout my life: the United States, Russia, and the Czech Republic.

Rapid Fire Questions:

  1. If you could visit anywhere in the world you have never been to, where would you go?

There are so many places I would love to visit. I would probably have to say South Africa is on the top of my list, but Thailand and Egypt would be close seconds.

  1. What is your all-time favorite show?

I have a three-way tie for my favorite show: Friends (of course), Game of Thrones, and Schitts Creek.

  1. At which store would you like to max out your credit card?

Chipotle – it isn’t necessarily a store, but I frequent way too much, and I spend a lot of money there.

  1. Choose a movie title for the story of your life.

“folklore.” With how many people I have met and learned about their backgrounds and history, I feel like a giant storybook, so it only seemed fitting.

AJ is scouting for administrative professionals, including Medical Receptionists, Medical Secretaries, Administrative Assistants, Executive Assistants, for assignments in some of the top hospitals and other medical facilities in New York. Email him at aliberti@promedsr.com to apply.
