Meet one of our top Nurse Recruiters, Gary Salazar, who attributes his success to the deep and meaningful connections he made with his nurses. No wonder then he has the most referred nurses working with him today! Click below to read more about Gary and what makes him best-in-class.

  1. Can you talk about your experience as a recruiter?

I enjoy recruiting because it helps me be of service to people. Recruiting has also helped me build an instinct for identifying the best qualities in people and sharpened my decision-making and management skills. The joy of knowing you placed a good candidate and building trust within the organization is very fulfilling.

  1. Tell us about your most interesting hires.

Employee referral has always been the best source of hire for me. Hard to fill roles are challenging because the available candidates in the market are limited. You may not find them on leading job boards or career sites, or otherwise. The best way to reach them is through your employees’ professional network. So, make sure to maintain a good relationship with your candidates because word of mouth is the best marketing.
